All tracks originally appeared on earlier 12” and 7” vinyl releases: 1983’s “Mark, Don & Mel” EP (New Age 005); 1984’s “Born in a Barn” LP (Homestead 004); 1986’s “Naked at the Buy, Sell, and Trade” LP (Homestead 048) and “Dick Clark” 7” single (Shadowline 0386, NL); 1987’s “Before We Stop to Think” EP (Shadowline 0387, NL); 1988’s “Sum Things Up” LP (Homestead 093-1); and 1989’s “Exercise” 7” single (Homestead 129-7). “Letter to a Fanzine” appeared on Homestead’s 1986 “Wailing Ultimate” compilation, and “Standing at the Crosswords” appeared on 1988’s “Human Music” compilation.
